Kare Ayam
Bahan-bahan :
½ kg daging ayam, potong sesuai selera
100 ml santan
1 batang serai, memarkan
2 cm lengkuas
2 buah daun jeruk
2 buah daun salam
Air secukupnya
Bumbu yang dihaluskan :
5 siung bawang merah
3 siung bawang putih
3 butir kemiri
3 cabe merah kecil
½ sdt ketumbar
1 cm kunyit
1 cm jahe
1 sdt garam
Cara membuat :
Pertama-tama tumis bumbu halus bersama-sama serai, lengkuas, daun salam dan daun jeruk sampai wangi, tambahkan daging ayam masak hingga ayam sedikit terlihat kecoklatan, kemudian tambhakan air, rebus ayam tersebut hingga hampir empuk, lalu masukkan santan, aduk-aduk supaya santan tidak pecah hingga ayam empuk (sembari rasakan bumbu-bumbunya apabila ada kekurangan rasa), sekitar 15menit biarkan hingga tersisa sedikit kuahnya. Angkat dan sajikan.
